The Clos Figueras estate was acquired by Charlotte and Christopher Cannan in 1997. The vineyards cover an area of Approximately 12 hectares, of the farm's total of 18 hectares.
There are about 2,500 old vines of Cariñena and Garnacha grapes that are over 80 years old, which are used to make Clos Figueres. The rest of the Garnacha, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were planted in 1998.
